Here's another tutorial for my Makeup Monday series featuring more brand new items that were recently added to my collection - mostly it includes Tarte products, Make Up Forever, Charlotte Tilbury and Pat McGrath. If you want to see my thoughts on these items, and whether they are worth the purchase, then keep on reading below!
Products Used:
Primer: Touch InSol - No Poreblem Primer ~ this is a tried and true product, if you're interested in reading my reviews then search through my blog for prior reviews!
Foundation: Tarte - Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation* (Light-Med Neutral) ~ a great foundation for those who love a sheet to medium/full coverage. It is buildable without being cakey and makes the skin look flawless. Here I am using one pump on a buffer brush.
Concealer: Tarte - Shape Tape* (Light-Med Sand) ~ another tried and true, one of my favorite concealers!
Setting Powder: Charlotte Tilbury - Genius Magic Powder *(2 Medium) ~ great loose powder, like it just as much as the airbrush flawless finish powder that I have been using for years. This one equally makes you look diffused and airbrushed.
Bronzer: Tarte - Park Avenue Princess* ~ this gives you a beautiful bronzed look that is soft and natural (also buildable). Does not look cakey or patchy and is the right shade of bronze (does not lean orange at all).
Contour: Tarte - Park Avenue Princess Bronzer & Contour Palette* ~ nice palette, good variety of colors - it is a big palette so it might not be the most travel friendly, bu it is beautiful to leave on your vanity. It includes matte highlight shades, a shimmer bronzer and some matte shades too. You can use them solo or mix and match to customize your own.
Blush: Tarte - Exposed* ~ Tarte blushes are some fo my favorite colors/formulations out there. They have great color payoff, again does not look cakey at all and it lasts all day on me without fading.
Brows: Wet n Wild - Retractable Brow Pencil* (Ash Brown) ~ A stable on my blog, love it and will continue to re-use it.
Eyes: Pat McGrath - Mthrshp - Subliminal Dark Star Eyeshadow Palette ~ I wanted to see why this palette was worth the $70 price tag, and now I know why. The mattes are buttery and pigmented, the shimmers glisten and reflect light and are GORGEOUS. You will see in the video just how amazing it looks! If I had the funds, I would buy a few more!
Liner: Tarte - Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner* ~ I am a user of liquid liners, so I love the liquid end of this two sided liner. It's black and pigmented and delivers even color with one swipe.
False Lashes: Tarte - Flirt* ~ weightless lashes that add enough length and drama without being too much.
Setting Spray: Make Up For Ever - Mist and Fix Setting Spray* ~ does the job, locks the make-up on all day and helps to blend in the powders together to create one seamless canvas. It is unscented which is a bonus.
Highlighter: Ultra HD Soft Light Liquid Highlighter* (30) ~ buildable highlight that comes in three different shades - a little goes a long way and when I gently pat it on it gives me a soft glow. Love this!
Lips: Tarte - Color Splash Lipstick - Siesta* ~ buttery soft and pigmented lipsticks that come in a huge variety of colors. I have so many shades and highly recommend everyone to purchase a few and add them to their lipstick collection. There is something for everyone.
Until next time, XO - M.
