August 2018 Favorites

While we are well into September, I couldn't go without sharing with you my August favorites! Once again, I have limited it to 10 items and spread it across a good range of beauty related items. If you're interested in finding out what they are and my thoughts on the items, then keep on reading below.

June 2018 Favorites

It's been a while since my last favorites post - so I thought I would share with you my newest loves i have been keeping in my rotation for the past few weeks. As always, I narrow it down to 10 items and for convenience I have also seperated them into categories - makeup, skincare/misc & lipsticks.

MAKEUP:
Clarins - Everlasting Compact Foundation - in the summer, I love to keep my makeup as minimalistic as possible. This Clarins powder foundation has been a godsend. It offers a sheer to medium buildable coverage (I still tend to just do one sweep on the face and keep it to a light layer). It makes my face look flawless and imperfections are diffused.

Sephora - Bright Future Skin Tint - on days that I want a bit more coverage I will go for this skin tint. It is cooling to the skin and just covers a bit more than the powder above and lasts all day. This also makes my skin look beautiful and airbrushed.

L'Oreal - LUMI Glotion - who doesn't want to look tanned and glowy in the summer? I know I do and this is a great product to use in the summertime and is a great price point too. If you want an overall glow, I like to use half the amount of Glotion mixed with foundation and apply that concoction on the face. In addition, you can of course apply the highlighter to the high points of the cheeks.

Touch in Sol - No Poreblem primer - this has been a saviour for the hot summer months. It keeps my oil control at bay.  It also smooths out my face and allows for a good base for further makeup application.

Dior - Diorshow On Stage Liquid Eyeliner - it is hard for me to find a liner that delivers an even line with a semi flexible brush tip thats super pigmented. My ride or die has always been the Clio Kill Black liner but this one is a great alternative on the luxury end.

SKINCARE/MISC:
L'Oreal - Micellar Water - I have been telling everyone about this Micellar Water, I apply this to a cotton pad and it removes all traces of makeup with one pad. It is amazing! It is a great duplicate of the Lancome Bi-phase makeup remover.
Avene - Eau Thermale - I like to use this to refresh my makeup or just to make me feel refreshed throughout the day. Also, my friend told me this is great for eczema prone skin and I have been using it on my hands.
ThisWorks - Deep Sleep Pillow Spray - To relax in my beauty room,  I love to use - one spritz is all it takes. I wish I could use this in the bedroom but I currently have baby in my bedroom so it says I cannot use it just yet around babies.

LIPSTICKS:
L'Oreal - Colour Riche Shine Glossy Lipstick - These are AMAZING! If you love lipbalms and want something a bit more pigmented then this is what you need. It delivers beautiful color that keeps your lips looking glossy and moisturized. I literally want these in every color possible!
Givenchy - Le Rouge Lipstick - Couture Edition - this is another gorgeous berry toned lipstick that is a true pigmented buttery one. It's great for summer with my tanned skin, really makes it pop!

Until next time, XO - M.

February 2018 Favorites

Favorite products for the Eye area:
1. Too Faced - Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette* - $59
I had reviewed this palette a while back and created two looks with it - if you're interested, click here to access the post. The metallic/shimmer shadows are ultra pigmented and I appreciate that this palette also included matte shadows for transition shadows etc. This is a true all in one palette and you can create both a neutral and bold look with one palette.

2. Tom Ford - Private Shadow - $44
This shadows are the ultimate splurge item. They are finely milled, pigmented and blend like butter. I highly suggest that you pick at least one up! The matte formulations are the best.

3. Maybelline - Lasting Drama Gel Liner* - $11.99
The best drugstore liner I've ever tried, it glides on effortlessly, the brush it comes with is actually practical (if you want to use it) and it does not dry out in the container after a few months (like some high end gel liners I've tried). For under $12, yes you must get this

4. Wet n Wild - Ultimate Brow Retractable* - $5.99
I have found my new holy grail brow pencil. This product's texture is hard enough but also pigmented enough to be able to draw in your brow without looking too harsh or unnatural. It has a wider angled tip so you can cover more surface area, but like I mentioned before because of the firmness of the product you can also create any defined lines if required. In addition, I really appreciate the brush on the other side ~ this truly is an all-in-one item and at under $6 I have to stock up on MANY back-ups, just in case.

Favorite products for the face:
This cushion highlighter is beautiful, and I highly suggest you to get it ASAP as it is limited edition. The packaging alone is worth it. It is a buildable highlight that offers you that radiant "jlo" glow and again because it's a liquid cushion formula, it's natural and will not look cakey or powdery.

2. Tarte - Shape Tape  (Light Neutral) - $35
I am not the first one to talk about this product, but its a great medium to full coverage concealer. I need to only apply one dot to each panda eye circle and I blend it out with a fluffy concealer brush and I look instantly awakened!

3. NARS - Liquid Blush (Orgasm) - $38
This is a great product for a subtle flushed on the cheek look. It stays all day, looks natural and offers an almost "stain" like quality to the face that will wash off at the end of the day.

4. Make Up For Ever - Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer* (20M) - $43
There is no possible way you can mess this up (unless you honestly pick the wrong shade that is so far off). It is a gel-like formula that applies sheer to the skin and is buildable. It makes you truly look tanned and sun-kissed without being cakey or powdery.

5. Givenchy - Chinese New Year Prisme Libre*- $69
I have written a blog post about this product, if you're interested in reading my review of this - click here - but as a spoiler, I love it! It's great for oily skin gals as a re-touch and as a setting powder it makes you look airbrushed.

Other Favorites:
I had purchased the above two acrylic containers at a Japanese Daiso (this one was located at Market Village near the foodcourt, for those of you who are from Toronto or the GTA area). They were $2 each and I think that's a steal considering it's thick acrylic material as well as the pretty lace flower pattern on the bottom. I use it to store my daily make-up items on top of my vanity and it just helps me visually see what I want to use without having to dig through my various drawers and containers. As you can see in the picture below, it holds alot of product :)

What were some of your favorites this month? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, XO - M.

Favorite Make-Up Brushes of 2017

Being a beauty blogger and constantly trying to create looks and tutorials, I often try to find make-up brushes that can help me with what I need to accomplish. I have to say, sometimes I am lucky enough to receive some to try in the mail, but most of the time I do invest in brushes myself to be able to find the staple brushes that do exactly what I need and when.

As I am so busy with planning for the arrival of my baby boy, I didn't have the time to do a make-up and skincare post of 2017. To make-up for that, I decided to share with you my most reached for and favorite make-up brushes of 2017. I separated them into two sections - Face and Eye. I have also labelled them by brand, name and what I use it for.

The pictures should be pretty self explanatory in terms of which brush is for what, I figure when it comes to a favorite post, it might be best to just label everything as opposed to writing paragraphs upon paragraphs of each item.

I am trying to keep my blog posts short, sweet and to the point for 2018 :) I want to be able to keep your attention and interest by just giving you what you need or want to know (hopefully) in the fastest way possible!

If you do have any questions about the brushes below, please do not hesitate to send me a message, e-mail or comment directly on this post!

The one thing I have to say, before I end this post is that as you can see, my brushes range widely in terms of price. I have brushes that can be bought for a few dollars on eBay, to hand crafted brushes made by Japanese Artisans (Hakuhodo and Wayne Goss). What I have truly learnt is that a brand or price tag does not define how efficient a brush is, you just have to try out a different variety of brushes and see what works for you :)

Until next time, XO - M.

November 2017 Favorites

It has been 2 months since my last favorites post and once again I am bringing you 10 of my favorite products I have been using for the last few months that I am absolutely loving. So let's get started!

Products that I love include:
1. Burberry - Cat Lashes Mascara - $35
2. Burberry - My Burberry Blush 90ml - $130
5. Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder - Eye Ink Matte Eyeliner - $58
6. Giorgio Armani - Ecstasy Shine Lipstick - $43
7. Charlotte Tilbury - Wonderglow: Skin Care Primer - $65
8. Cover FX - Perfect Highlighting Palette - $98 (on sale now for $45 ~ not sure for how long)
*prices listed above are in cad.

Thoughts on the products:

This product works well to keep my oily t-zone at bay for the whole day. I pat this on to my tzone and I do not have to powder or blot the area at all. Love this!

This is a medium coverage foundation, buildable to a full coverage. It makes you look airbrushed and has a satin matte finish that is weightless and leaves you looking flawless. I have recommended this to a few of my friends and coworkers and they love it as well, even those who enjoy a full matte coverage on a regular basis.

Charlotte Tilbury - Wonderglow: Skin Care Primer
I have raved about this product before on the blog and I use it either as highlight on the face, or mixed in with my foundation for a luminous finish. This is a subtle highlight that makes you look lit from within.

Cover FX knows how to do a highlighter right and this powder palette has all the click enhancers packaged in powder form. One palette on the go provides all the highlighting goodness you would need. I love this so much as I can either get a sheer to ultra glow highlight. Whatever your heart desires.

Burberry - Cat Lashes Mascara*
This plastic wand has bristles that help to separate and lengthen the lashes. It coats the mascara on your lashes and with the shape of it, it can extend the outer edges to create a cat eye look.

Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder - Eye Ink Matte Eyeliner*
I almost feel guilty adding this as my favorite because of the price tag, but if you enjoy an opaque, fully black and pigmented liner I would say that you need this in your life. Seriously, it lasts all day, doesn't budge at all and offers a very precise line.

Giorgio Armani - Ecstasy Shine Lipstick*
If you like lipsticks with a balmy texture that is sheer to buildable medium coverage then this is for you. It deposits a beautiful wash of color to the lips and keeps it moisturized and a shine.

I had received three of these products for PR and a post will be coming up soon. But before I could even upload my post, I went to purchase 4 more at Sephora and that is so rare. I liked this product so much that I splurged and went all out. The applicator allows for a very precise deposit of product to the lips. The product is buildable and leaves a gloss look to the lips and then finally dries down to matte and after a few hours when it wears off, it leaves a stain to the lips that is not patchy or dry. You HAVE to go get at least one!

Burberry - My Burberry Blush*
This perfume is great for fall and winter - it is a mix of floral and fruit which is my favorite blend. It lasts all day without the need to reapply and smells feminine and sophisticated.

I am always looking for a good micellar wipe that works well to remove my make-up effectively should I perhaps become a bit too tired to go through my entire skincare removing regiment. The price is reasonable and can be picked up at the drugstore.

What have been some of your favorites the past month and have you tried any of the products mentioned above? Do any of them interest you? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Until next time, XO - M.

August 2017 Favorites*

Cover FX - Enhancer Drops
This drops offer a beautiful natural highlight should you choose to have it subtle, and builds up to a blinding highlight wherever you please. I always choose to use this to achieve that JLO glow and I love it on my cheekbones, or on my lids - and even mixed with my foundation.

IT Cosmetics - CC Cream
This has been my go-to foundation the past summer, as well as on my trip to the Dominican. It protected my face so well from the sun that my face didn't experience any sun damage, while my chest and shoulders experienced some minor sunburn. This stuff is amazing, it does not go on too thick, it photographs well and is unscented which works beautifully for me. In addition, I do not feel this on my face when applied and does not feel cakey or get oily throughout the day. I am so happy that they carry this in Canada now! I had to travel to the US to buy this before! That's how much I love it. Until October, you can use my code - ITGIRLCHAN on the Canadian IT Cosmetics website for 10% off! (I do not make anything off the code, so please feel free to use it!)

Urban Decay - Illusion Primer
This primer smooths out any enlarged pores on my face and creates an even canvas for my make-up application!

Vita Liberata - Self Tan Bronzing Minerals
I have talked about this product before and I am still in love with it. It works as a bronzer, that actually works to provide you with a lasting tan as well. Therefore, please be gentle when you use this - you should not aim for an oompa-loompa look. A light dusting on the areas of your face where the sun naturally hits, and you will see that your face will gradually get more tanned through the day and it lasts for a few days.

Guerlain - Terracotta - Natural Brunette
Guerlain bronzers have always delivered a natural sun kissed look to the face that makes you look like you just came back from vacation. Do not get me wrong, this product does not come without a luxurious pricetag - however, if you do feel like spoiling yourself on a worth-it product, than this is for you.

Dior - Rouge Dior Lipstick
This is a great liquid lipstick that does not dry out your lips or settle in fine lines. It dries down without the metallic scent that some brands have (I know it sounds weird, but it is hard to explain the difficulties I have had with other brands). The colors are pigmented, and does not become streaky when swatched over.

YSL - Volupte Tint-In-Balm
These moisturizing lipsticks are lightly fruity scented and delivers hydration to your lip with a sheer wash of color. This is an ultimate luxury balm if you want to treat yourself!

Burberry Cat Eye Liner - Jet Black
The liquid liner, though not immensely pigmented, I love it for how ultra fine the tip is. It works to create a very thin wing and even for any detail graphic liner work you would like to do. In addition, the olive cream/powder shadow on the other end with the smudge applicator allows you to take this on the go for any touch-ups.

Marc Jacobs - Highliner Gel Eye Crayon
These crayons, no matter the shade are AMAZING. Once applied, they do not budge at all. They are waterproof and never loses its color payoff. I want them in ALL colors.

Saje - Peppermint Halo
I've recommended this product to friends, family and coworkers and none of them have regretted purchasing it. You put it on your pressure points, along the back and base of the neck to the hairline, and on your temples. This is wonderful! It eases any mild headaches to pounding migraines you may have within minutes.

July 2017 Favorites

Time has flown by so quickly and I have been so behind with my blog posts and monthly favorites - last month I didn't even have a chance to post something so here's my July favorites!! As always, I try to keep it to 10 items, so if you're interested in knowing what my June favorites are, then just keep on reading ....

1. Dior - Diorskin Forever Foundation - 031 Sand
This foundation offers a sheer to medium buildable coverage - it makes you look truly airbrushed and offers a satin finish. This has truly been in my rotation of make-up items used in June and I get compliments everytime I wear it.

2. Dior - Forever & Ever Wear Makeup Primer
This primer is very liquidy and at first I didn't know if I would like it based on its consistency - it really is like water and is very runny. Most primers I gravitated to in the past were mousse like or whipped in texture that works to smooth out the skin. This however is transparent, and goes on weightless. When dried, almost instantly, it leaves behind a satin like finish that is smooth and makes my makeup last all day. It truly is a base/primer!

3. Giorgio Armani - Sun Fabric Powder Bronzer - 100
I had bought this product a year ago and never used it - during my makeup clean-up and declutter I found this and decided to add it to my routine immediately. It makes me look like I just spent the day outside on the patio or beach soaking up the sun.

4. Burberry - Fresh Glow Highlighter - Nude Gold
This is a cool toned champagne gold that gives a beautiful wash on your cheekbones! It is both sheer yet buildable so it is fully customizable to your own preference.

5. L'Oreal - Lash Paradise Mascara - Blackest Black
This mascara is no joke, it is amazing! It lengthens and thickens adding volume to my short little lashes. It isn't clumpy and is a great drugstore find!

6. Too Faced - Melted Matte - Wine Not?
I had created a bridal look a few posts back featuring this cool toned burgundy red for a bridal tutorial. It is absolutely beautiful and so unlike anything I've seen before.

7. Bare Minerals - Gen Nude Radiant Lipstick - Tutu
This is the lipstick I have kept in my purse everyday - its a beautiful baby pink and is smooth, hydrating and almost gel-like. It glides on effortlessly without even needing a mirror and I wear it everyday at work or even out on weekends!

8.  Jimmy Choo - L'eau Jimmy Choo for Women
For those who know me, will know that I love light fragrances with a hint of floral and citrus tones. This fragrance from Jimmy Choo is perfect for summer and fall - it is light, crisp and refreshing with the perfect notes of floral and hints of citrus when I wear it. I've been wearing it everyday the last month and frequently get asked what it is :)

9. Tarte - Clean Queen Vegan Deodorant
I have a sensitivity to deodorants at the drugstore, it develops a swollen red rash that is itchy and starts flaking after a few days and causes ingrowns. So attractive I know, however once I switched to another brand of deodorant and was more conscious of what I was using, I never had that problem again. This one from Tarte though not extremely perfumed does a really good job keeping sweat a bay and keeping me fresh. It is aluminum and alcohol free and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals. I highly recommend this product!

10. Dew Puff Original Konjac Sponge
I had forgotten how much I had loved cleansing my face with a Konjac sponge until I tried this out. I had used one before from a much more expensive competitor and it just got too expensive. However, this one is a third of the price, and double the size, so YES! I am back on the Konjac wagon!

What have been some of your beauty favorites this past month? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, XO - M.

April 2017 Favorites

It's April and Spring is officially here. That means a change in make-up that is light and fresh with glowing skin and a flush to the cheeks. I have been using the following 10 items (yes I have made it a mission to only select 10 items for my monthly favorites now) almost everyday and if you want to know why, just click the link below to find out :)

1. Charlotte Tilbury - Instant Look In a Palette *
2. Burberry - Nude Pink 101*
3. Real Techniques - Eye Shade & Blend*
4. Fiona Stiles - Brow Sculpting Wax
6. YSL - Babydoll Kiss and Blush Duo Stick* - Purple/Pink
9. Hard Candy - Translucent Loose Powder*
10. Avon - Eyelash Curler*

March 2017 Favorites

I had the opportunity to try out tons of new products these last two months because of the spring launches coming out from all the make-up and skin and haircare brands. As I mentioned last time, I am going to narrow down my monthly favorites to only 10 products.

I have split my products into two different sections below to make it easier for you to navigate and so my reviews and thoughts wouldn't look like word jumble on this post.

First things first, make-up products:
1. NARS - Soft Matte Complete Concealer (Macadamia)
I took the plunge and decided to purchase this product a few weeks ago and I have never looked back. I actually prefer this cream concealer over the NARS liquid concealer. For a cream, I was at first expecting it to be too thick that it'll crease on my undereye but honestly when I apply this with a brush and apply it to my undereye, it provides a medium coverage while somehow miraculously seeming like its a powder consistency. I recommended this to a friend of mine and she loved it too!

2. Bare Minerals - Broad Spectrum Multi-Tasking Face (Well Rested)
I bought this product after hearing Shaaanxo rave about it for years. In a recent make-up destash video she still explained about how much she loved this and kept it in her collection. This powder is high-coverage! It sets the under-eye and lightens it by at least a shade. I really do enjoy this product and it does not break me out. If you're into the brighter undereye look, you definitely have to try this out.

3. Cover FX - Custom Cover Drops (G30)*
I was so lucky to have a one-on-one meet to learn all about the history of CoverFX, their entire collection of products and was even given some goodies to try out. I found my perfect mix of the CoverFX custom cover drops - I like to mix it with a dime sized amount of a gel base moisturizer, apply two drops of the Custom Cover Drops and one drop of the Custom Enhancer Drops. It gives me medium coverage with a subtle glow within that makes people ask me why my skin looks so radiant. The drops do take getting used to, remember this is a highly concentrated pigment product so once you find your perfect concoction it's a beauty.

4. Cover FX - Custom Enhancer Drops (Sunlight)*
As mentioned above, I use this product to mix in with my Custom Cover Drops. I am not one to do a crazy bright highlight but when lightly tapped to the cheekbones or mixed into the foundation, it gives you a beautiful glow.

5. Fiona Stiles - Multidimensional Color Palette
I learnt all about this product from Tati (GlamlifeGuru) and she gushed about this product. I told my friend about this and she was so sweet enough to gift this to me as a surprise since I can't get this in Canada she bought it at Ulta (Thank You Lil!! xoxo). This palette is thin, easy to take with you and has a good sized mirror. In addition, the colors are pigmented, finely milled and deposits a beautiful wash of color that is not patchy. It's just beautiful to have a palette that actually contains colors that I will use - the blush, bronzer and highlighter are all shades that are practical and effortless.

When I was first sent this product, I was a bit scared to try it out. 1, It does look very intimidating in the jar it is a dark shade of brown and 2. it mentions that the powder, when applied, will darken over time and gives you a tan that will last 5 days. This is the world's first powder tanner. I picked to try this on a weekend so that if this does fail on me it wouldn't be so bad after a weekend. I used the large fluffy kabuki brush to apply a light layer to the skin, I put one layer on in the outer perimeter of the face and also on my cheekbones and nose. When done, I had a subtle bronzed look to the skin like regular bronzer, however by the time it was around lunch, I no joke look like I just got a fresh tan. With this product, a little goes a long way - do not apply it liberally and keep piling it on, a sheer layer and a few hours later you WILL see it develop and will last you a few days :)

7. Dior - Dior Addict Lacquer Stick (Turn Me Dior)*
I had reviewed this recently on my blog and was kindly set a few lippies to try and this was my favorite. A pop of raspberry red and it just lifts my mood and gets me ready for Spring/Summer. It's buttery smooth, pigmented and well let's just say I WANT MORE! :)

 Hair and Skincare Products
1. BVSpa - Sugar Scrub (Pink Grapefruit)*
After my trip to the Dominican and getting sun burnt, I mean hey I can't complain, I became 3 shades darker in one day hahaha but that also meant I cooked in the sun. Sure enough, I started peeling and this sugar scrub worked really well to help buff away the dead skin. The granules are big enough that it was able to remove the snake skin layer - and this was also very gentle and nourishing.

2. Pai-Shau - Opulent Volume Spray*
If you've been a reader of my blog, you will know that I've been using the Aveda Thickening Tonic but this has replaced it. This feels even more light-weight and provides me with volume that lasts all day without weighing down my hair or making it greasy.

3. Aveeno - Eczema Care
The eczema on my right hand has always been an on-going concern and problem for me. The last 2 years has been a search for me to find the one item that could help me ease the irritated skin. Most of the products I've tried works only for a short period of time or is really expensive, and my husband recommended this to me. I was skeptical at first, but seriously I love it. If I don't use it daily, I can immediately feel the difference and my skin flares up again. This works well to calm the skin and keep my eczema in check.

What were some of your monthly favorites? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, XOXO - M.

February 2017 Favorites

I can't believe that my last favorites post was in October 2016, I was meaning to do a 2016 year end favorites but I honestly just didn't get around with it - and I think it's a bit too late now to do a year in review favorites.. oops! Life and scheduling just got too hectic and I slipped behind... oops.. sorry!

I'm trying to limit my monthly favorites now to just 10 items - I think that it forces me to really narrow down what I really enjoyed using - and also allow me to cover both skincare, haircare as well as cosmetics.

My list of items include:
2. OUAI - Dry Shampoo Foam
3. Holista - Tea Tree Oil
6. Rodial - Eyeshadow Palette
7. NARS - Velvet Lip Glide - Bound
8. Sephora - Daily Brush Cleanser
9. Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush - Paaarty

I have broken them down by category to make for my reviews easier to navigate:

COSMETICS:

Cold weather means dry lips that are prone to cracking and peeling (so attractive). While this is a luxury product, I do enjoy it very much. the larger granules in this scrub, plus the bullet lipstick formula means that I do not have to dig my finger in a pot (unhygienic) to apply it on my lips. I have tried other brands in bullet form before, however the sugar bits are too fine for me to feel like it is doing anything substantial. I feel like this one truly works, even after using it once (meaning immediately) as it buffs away the dead skin and leaves a subtle pink tint. This product isn't fragranced like

Dior - Nude Air Luminizer Powder in 003
Buttery, smooth and pigmented - this product gives you a golden glow that makes you look ethereal and highlighted. You can either use this to add a subtle glow to your cheeks, or build it up to pack a punch.

Rodial - Eyeshadow Palette
I love this palette and used it in this look so please head on over to that post to see my thoughts.

NARS - Velvet Lip Glide - Bound
The name of this product is exactly the description of it - it is velvety and glides on the lip. This is a perfect dusty rose nude color and looks gorgeous with any look. I haven't stopped wearing it since I bought it!

Tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush - Paaarty
I've been pairing this blush with the NARS bound lip glide - they compliment each other perfectly in the rose nude aspect.

Guerlain - La Petite Robe Noire Black Lashdress Mascara
I wrote a review about this mascara here - this is one high end mascara that I will definitely repurchase! follow the post link to read all about my thoughts.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Holista - Tea Tree Oil
I have been using this now as a spot treatment for any breakouts and it's been working really well or any type of skin irritation in terms of bites.

I bought this during the VIB Rouge event last month and have been using it every other day to spot clean my brushes. It does have a oil-slick like finish to it which conditions the brushes as it cleans. But this stuff really works. One spray and I can generally get one eye brush clean. I typically need 2-3 pumps for a face brush. I will continue to repurchase this.

HAIRCARE:

I use this on my damp ends before I blow dry my hair and I really like the scent as well as the protection it gives to my ends as I blow dry my hair and straighten it at likest 4-5 times a week. It does not leave a residue or weigh your hair down which is an added bonus.

This is a very innovative product and I was quite skeptical as to whether it would work. It is a mousse formulation that you dispense onto your hand and then apply and work through your hair. It honestly does help you with second day hair and to get rid of the grease, however this product you MUST work in small quantities - if you use too much you DO feel product buildup. It's a fine art of balancing and finessing the right amount. But when you do, you feel refreshed, look like you just got a blow out and looks fabulous!

What have been some of your favorites this month? I'd love to hear from you!
Until next time, XO - M.
