I cannot wait until Pixi Beauty makes its return back to Canada in 2017, seriously! While they were in Target, I just didn't realize what I had til they were gone. Most of the items I have tried, I either like or love but obviously yes, no brand is perfect so I will always give you my honest opinions of the products I review and this month's #pixiglow box is with no exception. If you're interested in reading my review of each of the products I received, please keep on reading below!

Beauty Blush Duo & Kabuki in Peach Honey - $18
This is said to be a blush and highlighter duo to give you a lit-from-within look in a few fuss-free seconds.

Thoughts: The Kabuki brush is really soft and helps apply the product to your face like a dream. I would not say that this is a blush and highlighter duo though as both of the products are quite shimmery. I would actually use both of these as hilighters as the left side gives off a rose-toned effect and the right pale yellow side gives off a champagne/beige highlight. These are very pigmented and a little goes a long way so I would say that it is worth the price tag.

Liplift Max - $14
This product is a volume-maximizing lip treatment with peptides to hydrate and plump.

Thoughts: This lipgloss is a thicker slightly sticky consistency so yes, your hair will get caught on it if it's a windy day. If you are not a fan of that type of lip gloss then stay clear. This is unlike other lip plumping products as I did not feel a tingly effect when applied. That being said, this also did not give my lips a crazy plumping effect - It plumped my lips a very tiny bit but I think that it was mostly due to the fact that the gloss is really shiny and therefore gives the illusion of a fuller lip. I don't think that I would purchase this again next time.

Nourishing Cleansing Balm - $22
This is a deep cleansing balm-to-oil cleanser that melts away makeup and impurities for clear and glowing skin.

Thoughts: This stuff WORKS. I decided to put this bad boy to the test to remove all of my Halloween make-up I was doing the past week. It removed all traces of the cream pigments and colors as well as any of the icky lash glue caked on areas of the face. This can be used in the AM + PM - while this works like a dream and the instructions do mention that you can just use this, rub on the face until it becomes an oil consistency and then WIPE off and you're done.... I'm not completely sold on that concept. I must say that I want to make sure that my face feels clean - and while this did remove everything, having a balm like texture afterwards, and not having used cleanser and water freaks me out - yes I'm weird. So while this DOES work, and if you're okay with just using a balm and no cleanser and water, then this is 100% for you. For me, I still have to follow up with cleanser and water which means double the work so I will have to just save this for use when I have tough make-up on (i.e. Halloween or special occasion cake face makeup).

Rose Oil Blend - $24
A botanical blend infused with a powerful complex of youth-preserving oils to help improve skin's elasticity and glow.

Thoughts: I am not normally a fan of the fragrance of Rose (yes, I think I'm one of the rare ones). I just think that it can be very perfumey and overwhelming if not done correctly, it can be quite artificial. However, this Rose Oil blend rather surprised me. It is quick to absorb on the skin and leaves it very plump and moisturized. I will continue to use this especially in the upcoming cold winter months to bring some good hydration to the skin.

Glow Tonic - $15
This is their cult favorite exfoliating toner which delivers brighter and more radiant skin.

Thoughts: I have been wanting to try this for the LONGEST time. SERIOUSLY. I wanted to buy this at GenBeauty in Toronto months ago, but they were having issues with their machines and therefore could not take any card payments and I was so sad. Well, this baby is here now and in my possession. YESSSSSSSSSS!!! The one great thing about this product is that it is alcohol free, meaning it will not suck out any unnecessary moisture from your skin, I don't find there to be a strong scent to the product, if any and if you've been following my blog, you will know that I am a lover of glycolic acid - and this contains 5%, which is what gives you the liquid exfoliating component.
