Review: IT Cosmetics - Confidence Skincare Collection*

I am quite the fan of the cosmetics side of IT Cosmetics and have written about it on my blog a few times. They recently were kind enough to send me their Confidence Skincare collection for review.

The three items in the Confidence line include:

1. Confidence in a Cleanser ($36 cad) ~ this cleanser was developed with plastic surgeons to create an innovative product that combines a serum into your cleanser. This is meant for all skin types and even works for sensitive areas like your eyes. It is also sulfate-free and soap-free and is said to remove all traces of makeup (even waterproof!). The formula includes the "Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate™ to help your skin appear rejuvenated and restore moisture, plus anti-aging collagen, hyaluronic acid, colloidal oatmeal and a super ceramide complex, Confidence in a Cleanser™ delivers powerful results instantly and more dramatic results over time!"

Thoughts: This product worked exceptionally well in removing my make-up - I do not wear waterproof makeup, so I cannot comment on that side of things, but just removing regular every-day makeup was great! Sometimes with other cleansers, after washing my face when I wipe it on a towel, I can see some faint make-up residue. However, with this cleanser, I do not have that problem. This cleanser also does not act like other traditional cleansers in the sense that it doesn't become very soapy and bubbly when lathered. This just emulsifies onto the face and melts away the makeup and leaves behind a hydrated surface.

2. LEFT: Confidence in an Eye Cream ($48 cad) ~ this is an anti-aging eye cream that is tinted in an apricot tone to help brighten any dark circles to make them look more energized.  As mentioned on their site, their "proprietary Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate™ and other high-performance skin-loving ingredients—including a super ceramide complex, chrysin, licorice root, avocado and squalane—work to hydrate, smooth and refresh. From helping to restore the look of firmness to reducing the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, lines and wrinkles, this breakthrough product will give you powerful, clinically tested results immediately and more dramatic results over time!"

Thoughts: This is my favorite product of the three sent to me or review. My panda eye circles have always been the biggest concern of mine, and now caring with a newborn and working around that mommy schedule has me looking even more tired. There are days when I absolutely feel like putting zero makeup on and putting this eye cream on just helps me look less like a zombie because of the apricot tint. If needed, this moisturizer also works well under concealer as it keeps the area hydrated leaving the concealer to not look cakey or too thick. The product also isn't too hydrating or emollient so there's no creasing at all.

 3. RIGHT: Confidence in a Cream ($62 cad) ~ like the cleanser, this cream contains their Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate that helps to hydrate the skin while plumping fine lines and helping with wrinkles and firmness. This product also helps to reduce the look of pores and helps with discoloration and evening texture.

Thoughts: This product while hydrating and has the appearance of looking quite creamy and thick in the jar, it actually absorbs quickly and leaves behind a more youthful plump and almost dewy look. I found it very hydrating to the point where I do not even need to use a hydrating primer on my face on areas like my cheek when applying my foundation/powder. I can just use my mattifying primer on my nose and t-zone and I don't have to use my different primer concoctions on different areas of my face.

Until next time, XO - M
