Simple Back to School Makeup and Tutorial

After this Labour Day weekend, it's back to school time, and while I know that most of us can't be bothered with makeup, see a point in applying makeup or maybe not even allowed to wear makeup in school (I was one of them, we weren't allowed to have any visible makeup in high school) I thought I'd share with you all the way I faked it in high school.

This is my simple back to school makeup, nothing dramatic, heavy duty or cake faced! Just a fresh and dewy face that helps to bring out your inner glow and hide your imperfections (for me, it's my panda bags).

Products Used:
4. Bobbi Brown - Eye Brightener
5. Maybelline - Fit Me concealer
7. Pixi - Endless Silky Eye Pencil - Black Cocoa
8. NYX - Butter Gloss - Angel Food Cake
9. Chella - Eye Brow Pencil
10. Bobbi Brown - Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - Fresh Melon
11. Marcelle - Xtension Plus Curl Mascara

I really recommend you trying the Estee Lauder Day Wear Multi-Protection Sheer Tint Release Moisturizer. It comes out grey at first, but then it auto adjusts to your natural skin tone and gives you a wonderful summer glow. It'll help you keep that gorgeous tan you've been working on all summer while giving you a light coverage. Bonus is that there is SPF in it as well, so it's multipurpose! It has the classic Estee Lauder cucumber scent as well so it's rather refreshing.

I use this moisturizer over my Smashbox pore minimizing primer. The primer ensures that my enlarged pores are filled in and gives me a better base to work with.

As you can see, there's just something about a natural glow that it gives you, and I have no bronzer applied here.

For those of you heading back to school, have an amazing start of the year! And for those of you who are like me, regular full time workers - well you can still enjoy this look at work! This is usually the look I go with when I go to work. Simple. No fuss!

Until next time,
XO - M.
