Review: Multi-Masking with Jowaé*

Jowaé recently launched 3 new masks to their skincare line and you can read all about them here. They retail for $24 Cad each and contain 50mL of product are made with 96-98% ingredients that are of natural origin.

The three masks include:
1. Replumping Water Mask - Suitable for all skin types, it helps bring moisture to your skin to become plump and luminous. This gel-like formula melts into the skin upon contact and is weightless, feeling like a cool splash of water. It has a slightly floral scent that is relaxing and soothing. You apply a thick layer on the skin, let sit for 10 minutes and then massage into the skin before wiping off with a cloth.

2. Clarifying Mineral Mask - Suitable for all skin types and those with sensitive skin, this is formulated with white tea to help provide an instant boost of radiance to your skin. It brightens your skin and gives you that "I just had a facial at the spa" look. This mask is meant to be used by gently massaging in circular movements on your face for about a minute, then letting it sit for 30 seconds and washing it off.

3. Purifying Clay Mask - made for those with combination to oily skin (and suitable for those with sensitive skin), this mask works to balance out the sebum production on your skin and purifying it at the same time. It is almost mousse like in texture and you apply a thick layer on the skin, leave it on for 5 minutes to let the clay work its magic and then massage to clean out the pores and rinse off. I love this one because it has a blend of mint, mandarin orange and jasmine so it smells so refreshing and amazing!

A closer look at the texture of the masks are in the photo below. Always remember that you can utilize the method of multi-masking! especially when you have combination skin or you're looking to treat different problems/areas on your face. I like to put the purifying clay one on my t-zone, replumping on my cheeks and clarifying on my chin.

Until next time, XO -M
