I'm sure that some of you may know that Sephora is not just a place where you can buy beauty products from many different brands - they actually also have their own in-house beauty brand called Sephora Collection. They carry a wide variety of items from skincare to makeup and other beauty related items like tools, brushes and adorable make-up bags. I have been a user of Sephora Collection items for MANY years and they are always solid, reputable and reliable (and at a very reasonable price point compared to its similar competitors that they carry).

I was recently sent some items from their makeup collection to try, I had already reviewed their Bright Future Skin Tint before on the blog and it's great for a natural coverage for those "no makeup days". What I was most intrigued about was their Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipsticks as they come in a grand total of 90 shades that is bound to please anyone. From light neutrals to bold jewel tones in matte and metallic finishes, what is there not to love.

The liquid lipsticks come in a standard doe foot applicator and has a whipped like consistency that is not drying. There is a subtle scent to them which I cannot really determine what it is - it is very neutral, not floral or metallic (which is great). One swipe delivers good color payoff with no patchiness - it is opaque and wears very well through the day. I think the shade 64 Metallic Cherry would make for a great holiday Christmas party red!

To prep the lips - I also used the Sephora Collection Melting Lip Clicks - it is a lipstick oil hybrid that works to moisturize your lips. You can wear them alone as a balm, or before you put on your makeup to hydrate your lips in preparation for lipstick application after (which is what I did in this case). The best part about the lip clicks is the fact that you actually click the end of the barrel like a pen! it gets quite addicting to click it! (but don't click too far, it's not retractable!)

For the rest of my makeup, I used all of the products shown above :)
