Review and Swatch: Zoya Jubilee Collection - Holiday 2018*

Tis the Season to be Jolly, Fa-la-la-la-laaaaaa-la-la-la-la!!! Zoya is getting you ready for this Holiday season with their Jubilee collection, which contains a mix of 12 polishes in a range of creams, luxe metals and a special effect topper (black leopard print - ooo!). There's something for everyone in this collection, from nudes to rich and brilliant jewel tones. If you're interested in seeing them all swatched, then keep on reading below.

The description of shades that are swatched below include:

CREAMS:
KATERI: a deep brown shade that looks almost black. The swatch only required one coat.

DANICA: a rich deep forest teal green that is a beautiful Christmas tone that is a twist to the traditional red that you may see. The swatch is done with one coat, however upon removal there was slight staining on the nail even with a base coat. It wasn't anything serious though, a few hand washes and it was gone.

CHIARA: an eggplant purple cream shade, only one coat is required in the swatch.

ALLISON: a berry toned red that just screams the Holiday season! (one coat).

MAXINE: think of this shade as the lighter and brighter sister to Allison. It is more of a true red (one coat).

CARSON: a dusty rose pink that is great for those nude lovers - I have a sweater that is exactly this shade so I will be wearing this for sure with my leggings and winter boots! (only one coat req'd in photo below)

LEIGH: This is a true beige nude! I used two coats in the swatch photo below to deliver an opaque even swatch.

SHIMMER/GLITTERS/TOPPERS:
TARYN: a fuchsia micro-irredescent shimmer with blue undertones - only one coat req'd.

ASTRID: a liquid gold foil that adds a festive touch to any holiday look and can be worn alone (two coats req'd), or as a topper (one coat over another polish either on the whole nail or just on the tips for a gradient effect).

JUNIPER: a sparkling teal textured PixieDust shade that shifts blue/purple with a black undertone in some lights. You can wear this paired with Leopoard Spots Topper layered over it (two coats req'd). This polish had the same staining effect on me as the other green one, Danica - but again, nothing major that some hand washing after a few times didn't rid of. There was nothing to be mad at over and it's too beautiful not to use! The green tones are actually my favorites.

COOKIE: a purple PixieDust with gold flecks! Use this for an accent nail or on its own for a gorgeous textured matte look (two coats req'd).

LEOPARD SPOTS TOPPER: the new special effect topper for winter 2018 - layer over any textured PixieDust shade for an edgy leopard effect, if you are not a fan of leopard prints, then use it over a cream polish for more of a speckled elongated design. (one coat as it is a topper, two coats would ruin the effect). I applied one coat over the shade Cookie in the nail swatch photo below.

Which is your favorite shade? Mine would be Carson, Taryn, Danica, Juniper and Kateri. I know it's alot, but come on can you blame me? it's so hard to choose!

Until next time, XO - M.
