Review and Swatch: Mary Kay Chromafusion*

Mary Kay has recently launched a HUGE collection of products known as Chromafusion, which has 12 hours of stay true color for the eyes and face. These colors are said to last through anything you put it through - whether it may be a workout or hot weather. It is Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested for skin irritancy and allergies, so it is suitable for those with sensitivities or for those who wear contacts as well. The colors claim to stay as pigmented as you first put them on, and has no fallout.

There is a total of 33 eyeshadows in both shimmers and mattes, retailing for $9 a piece as well as 14 face colors which includes 2 contour powders, 2 highlighters and 10 blushes each retailing $15. These can be customized to create your own own palettes, either in the big Pro Palette which retails for  $28 and the small Petite Palette which is $17.

Personally, it would have been great to have a mirror on the larger palette as it would be more convenient when you take it on the go with you - with a palette that can house a contour, highlight, blushes and eyeshadows - it's a very practical idea, therefore a mirror would really complete it. The smaller palette has a clear window which is great as you can build multiple mini palettes and be able to just see which one it is that you need and just take it with you.

Each pan comes housed in its own plastic container and what's best is the fact that the names of the products are actually printed on the back of the pan. It's small details like this that I really appreciate from a brand.

Below, you will find swatches of the face products and eyeshadows (seperated into mattes and shimmers).

Until next time, XO - M.
