NARS Holiday collections are always beautiful and worth the splurge in my honest opinion. I was fortunate enough to be invited to their recent Holiday 2018 Launch/Preview event in Toronto and I had to say yes and go! It was my first event ever since being pregnant/having my baby so I dolled up and head on down with my other blogger girlfriend. I have some photos of the event at the bottom of the blog to share with you. This year's collection is edgy with their spiked bold packaging which I adore, but honestly their makeup is even better. The collection contains cheek and shadow palettes, lip sets, duo sets of lipsticks, blushes, highlighters and bronzers and single powermatte lip lusters in limited edition shades. I was lucky enough to be sent a few items so if you're interested then keep on reading below as I have them swatched and reviewed for you!

Out of all the items I have seen at the Holiday launch event, my favorite would have to be the Hot Tryst Cheek Palette which retails for $74 cad. It contains four blushes and two highlighting powders in six limited edition shades. They are sheer to buildable shades - you can use them dry for a subtle washed look or apply them wet for a pigmented punch (like the highlighters). The blushes have an almost baked consistency so it is very easy to just get that light wash of beautiful color to the cheeks and I kept playing with this all night at the launch event. With one pink toned champagne and shimmering taupe toned highlight, and blushes ranging from pink, coral and raspberry tones you are bound to find something that suits your style. You can also mix them together to create your own custom shades. Out of everything, this is a must buy!

The Little Fetishes Orgasm Lip and Blush Set - $32 cad contains a very generous deluxe sample size of their award-winning shade, Orgasm in both a blush and lipstick. The blush gained its popularity because of how universally-flattering its shade is. It can work as both a blush on fair to medium toned skin and on darker skin, as a golden shimmer highlight. The lipstick is enriched with Vitamin E to make sure your lips stay hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.

The Limited Edition NARS Ransom Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Set contains four shades: Skin Tight, a Pink Nude Beige, Rowdy a true nudge beige, Mayhem, my personal favorite, a mauve and Trashed that is a berry red. These lip pencils stay true to their existing formula, buttery, pigmented and weightless on the lips. It only requires one layer to deliver the results above.
