Spring Pastel Pink Lip and Neutral Eye ft. Brand New Make-up Items*

The last time I did something like this, a post featuring brand new make-up items, it received some good feedback. So I decided to do it again :) Being a beauty blogger, I am fortunate enough to get new items to test out - what better way to see how they perform, then to just use them all together.

Below features the before and after:

To see what my thoughts are on each item used, keep on reading below...

Products for the face and complexion include:

Very lightweight, smells lightly of coconuts (not artificial smelling). This felt more of a moisturizer then a primer but my foundation went on effortlessly.

2. Hard Candy - Color Correct Cushion Wonder - Neutralizer*
This product is very light and almost watery in consistency. I really liked that there is a on-off mechanism on the tube so that the product will not squeeze out accidentally. This worked to neutralize my dark circles and to brighten the area. I still had to follow up with concealer though.

I've been using this product for a year now and I like it - its lightweight and doesn't become cakey and offers medium coverage.

4. NYX - #nofilter Finishing Powder (Caramel Beige)*
This is a finely milled powder that offers a sheer to medium coverage - I look quite airbrushed when I have this on, and for an everyday look and use this is perfect.

I used this product to set my under eye and also applied a light dusting all over my face. It is buttery smooth and I found that it brightened my complexion.

I used the middle shade in the palette to bronze and contour my face and the blush on my cheeks to give me a healthy glow. This also is very finely milled, buttery smooth and did not apply patchy to my face. LOVE IT!

Products for the eyes and lips include:

1. Joe Fresh - Single Shadows in: Pretty Penny, Cinnamon and Champagne*
I LOVE these single shadows - for a drugstore product, they sure are better than alot of high end shadows I've tried and at a fraction of the price at $6 each or $10 for 2.

2. Teeez Cosmetics - Eyebrow Cream (Vintage Cacoa)*
I found this formula to be a bit drying - I will have to dilute it with a mixing medium next time I use it. The color worked well with my hair color.

This is a double ended product with a liquid liner on one side and a kajal liner on the other side. The liquid pen delivered great pigment that was matte black. Love it!

Lip Products include: Burberry Full Kisses - Nude Beige no. 500* mixed with Teeez Cosmetics - Cool Cerise*
Both of these lipstick formulas are beautiful and I wanted to mix them together to create a beautiful pastel baby pink. Nude Beige on it own was too nude on me, because I have a tan now it was a bit like zombie lips - so by mixing it in with the mauvey pink Teeez lipstick, it was just a gorgeous pastel color.

This look is great for the upcoming spring weather :) I'll definitely be wearing this alot.

Until next time, XO - M.
