QUO - 2017 New in beauty - Make-up Look + Review*

Quo Cosmetics has been a staple brand in my collection since I was a teen and I have reviewed them a few times on my blog. They recently sent me a PR package with all the brand new goodies coming out Spring 2017 and I just had to give you a short review on each product as well as creating a make-up look for you guys :)

If you're interested in learning more, just click the link below...

1. Quo Nourish and Prime Hydrating Primer $24
This primer is very hydrating and feels like a moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and plumps up my skin - if you're looking for a primer that fills the pores, then this will not do it for you. Again, as the name says this is a hydrating primer so it's perfect for my dry skin in the winter / colder months.

2. Quo Matte Revolution Foundation $24
The description states that "This foundation comes in 5 shades and is said to be a foundation and concealer. It has a HD soft-focus finish and gives off a luminous matte finish. It is long wearing and is mineral oil and paraben free." I would have to say that I completely agree with the matte finish. It is probably the most matte and full coverage foundation I own and I didn't even need concealer in the pictures below. I had to be really careful as I wasn't used to using such full foundation that I didn't come off looking one dimension and cake face. So use a beauty sponge when applying this, I used a flat top face brush so it looked thicker than normal. I do LOVE this foundation though in pictures because I look absolutely flawless. However I do not do this day to day because you do feel it on your face.  It's thick and I do get oily on my tone quite easily.

3. Quo Makeup Setting Spray $19
I love finding drugstore make-up setting sprays and this one delivers a fine mist. It absorbs really quickly and mattifies the face. I love this product!

Quo Concealer Palette $19
The product is described as "With four different shades in the palette, you are bound to be able to mix and match a shade that is perfect for you." However the formula though is quite...hard to get used to its almost gooey. This is a very creamy formula and is really pigmented. I want to say make sure you set the concealer as it will crease if you don't however no matter how I set it still creused.

Quo Blush Duo $16 each
Blushes are my weakness and these remind me of the drugstore version of the Charlotte Tilbury Swish and Pop blushes. They are described as having "an HD soft-focus finish, contains Vitamin E, is paraben free and is easily blendable". The blushes are BUTTERY smooth and is very pigmented. They stayed all day on my face and didn't fade by the end of my work day.

Quo Lip Velour $14 each
Oh man, I am hooked on these lip velour "liquid lipsticks". There are 6 shades in total and applies with a brush to a creamy matte finish. They are so pigmented and delivers a great color deposit on your lips without being streaky. Of the two sent to me, the red - I have fallen in love with. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to is the applicator. It was a bit too firm but the firmness helped me to create the sharp lines for my lips.

Quo Radial Blur Translucent Powder $18
I really enjoyed bringing this on the go with me to blot my nose and t-zone when it got a bit greasy. It worked well to absorb the oil and keep them at bay for at least 3-4 hours.

Upper Row: Quo Bronzer Duo $19 each
These two bronzers are matte on the outer perimeter and then the middle has a light subtle glow to it - whether it be the light golden tone or the light pink shimmery glow. It can be worn either alone (just the matte shade) or blending the outer and inner shade together to give you a beautiful subtle glow from within look. I like the golden tone one for bronzing up my face (trust me, the highlight tone isn't super shimmery and obvious, you will not look like a sparkling disco ball) the pink toned one is a nice shade if you're looking for a subtle natural pinky glow.

Bottom two: Quo Matte Bronzer $19 each
These bronzers are truly matte and offer a very natural result. With two different tones one for lighter skin and the other for medium to skin, you will be able to give yourself a bronzey look without being orange as it is more of a cool toned bronzer. Unfortunately those with darker skintone wont find one that is suitable for you as these two shades are relatively light.

Here is a look created using the products listed (minus the brows, liner and lashes). Both lip swatches are featuring the two different Quo Lip Velours. As you can see from the before and after, the foundation THOROUGHLY did a good job covering all of my discoloration sand imperfections on y skin and literally gave me a flawless and blank canvas to work on.

Which lip color is your favorite? Is there anything you're excited to try from the new line? I must say I am really happy that the drugstore is really stepping it up in terms of their make-up products. Stay tuned in the next few weeks for another QUO launch review!

Until next time, XO - M.
