Sephora Paint it Pink and Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss Review

Sephora Favorites are always a good way for you to try out various different deluxe sample sized or full sized products in one shot. The box usually retails for a fraction of the entire retail price of all the products together and is really reasonable in terms of quantity and quality of products included. The "Paint it Pink products within the box retails for $122 USD and is sold for $40 USD/ $48 CAD. I would guess that $122 USD is probably around $140-145CAD? regardless, you're paying a third of the price or less to try out 3 full sized products and 5 deluxe sample sized products.

I purchased this box during the VIB sale and got 15% off it. Below is a picture of the box when opened.
The three full sized products are:.
1. Beauty Blender - The Original Beauty Blender - $28
2. Laura Mercier Lip Sitck in French Kiss - $34
3. Urban Decay eyeshadow in Scratch - $22

These 3 products alone already cost $84 (plus taxes) - You're already basically getting the Laura Mercier lipstick for free on top of the rest of the products listed below.

The rest of the products include:
4. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
5. Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Baby Love
6. Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi-Gloss in 202
7. BECCA Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pressed Rose Gold
8. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Blissfull

swatches of all these products are in the above picture where I listed out the items in the box.

Overall, I would really recommend that you pick up the Sephora Favorites boxes. The first reason is obvious - you pay significantly less to try out all these products then you would separately, and finally it's because  how often have you ever used up an entire product in its entirety? With this, the deluxe samples are large enough for you to use multiple times without ever running out.

These lip glosses from ABH really pack a punch in terms of color - the below swatches are from one swipe only and I love it! I found that the liquid lipsticks were too drying for me, so this one actually gives me the pigmentation I want, without sacrificing the hydrating feeling I get. The colors I got are Petal (bottom color) and Dollhouse (the above).

They have a faint scent of vanilla, a sweetness and are not too sticky. There is a slight tackiness to it - but nothing like those MAC lipglosses that your hair gets stuck in.

I would recommend that you pick at least one color to try out for the spring and summer - paired with a simple winged liner and some mascara will give you a beautiful fresh look.

Until next time, XO - M.
