This is my second time partnering with B.Liv Skincare products and I was sent three things to try this time around - the glow & glory skin reviving biological mask, shrink & tighten large pores diminishing night complex and the deep impact deep pores massage and cleansing emulsion. These products are sleek in their design - I really like the simple color blocking on the label and the description of the product as well as ingredients and how-to is listed on the back.
The products are safely packaged and housed in the box - in addition, the shrink & tighten, for e.g. is sealed to ensure that it is leak proof, and that the product itself will not be compromised.
The shrink & tighten ($49) is a very light formula, almost like water and the deep impact is a cream-based product that contains very small exfoliating beads. The benefits of this product include: reducing the appearance of pores, promoting firming on the skin, unclogging pores, heal damaged tissue, controlling oil secretion, smoothing and softening the skin.
Thoughts:
I really felt the tightening component of this product when applied. It is extremely lightweight in texture and mattifies the skin - I do not necessarily agree that it softens the skin though and I cannot speak on behalf of the "healing of damaged tissue"as my skin wasn't experiencing any damage at the time.
The deep impact ($25) is said to help cleanse the pores, promoting circulation on the skin, preventing blemishes and blockage of pores and smooths out the skin.
Thoughts:
I am not sure how I feel about this product, the cream to exfoliant ratio is more than half, meaning I didn't quite feel the beads when I was using this product. When I did feel the beads, they were very soft and so I didn't feel like it was really doing its job. In addition, I felt like there was a film on my skin afterwards, almost like when you put moisturizer on and when you wash it off with water, you feel some residue.
Finally, the glow & glory sheet masks ($25 for 3 masks). I love these masks the most out of all the products sent to me - they provided me with instant hydration helping revitalize my dull and exhausted complexion. It absorbs really quickly and also helps to tighten my face after the product is massaged into my face and dried.
This products have a clear expiry date printed, which is greatly appreciated as a consumer.
