For those of you who have been following my blog or social media channels - Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat, will know that I had recently attended the Estee Edit Media Event. I was really looking forward in trying some certain products that were launched, including the eyeshadow that is featured in this specific Makeup Monday post. This is the The Estée Edit by Estée Lauder Metallishadow Crème + Powder in AquaNova - it is a cream shadow base paired with a pigment section on the bottom.

In the picture and list above, I have included in detail the products used to create the makeup look. As the shadow is really bold and dramatic, I opted for a more neutral face in terms of blush and lipstick. I wanted the focus to be entirely on the eyes itself. I patted the cream base shadow on the lid, and then packed on the gorgeous deep teal pigment on top. I then took a clean crease brush to blend out any harsh edges in the crease area.

For the foundation, I tried a new drugstore one which I have fallen in love with! The hype of it on the internet and on YouTube is real and THANK YOU for bringing it to Canada, Milani! As the foundation is thicker then what I'm used to, I like to put one drop of the Poetic Blend Hero Oil (which thins it out and adds a bit of dewiness) and also mix a little bit of Charlotte Tilbury's Wonder Glow sometimes.

All the other products used for the look are pretty self explanatory - as mentioned because I opted for a more neutral face, I didn't contour at all - just took some bronzer to warm up my face for a nice sun-kissed glow.

If you have any questions or ideas on any future Makeup Monday posts, please feel free to reach out below :) I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, XO - M.
